Chi-Square Goodness-of-Fit

 

chi-square test (also called Pearson’s chi-squared test) is used to assess two types of comparison: tests of goodness of fit (here) and tests of independence

A chi-square goodness of fit test allows us to test whether or not an observed frequency distribution differs from a theoretical distribution.
